Allergies
I was at a meeting last weekend when one of the women there was sneezing, blowing her nose and looked like she was very uncomfortable.
I went back to the back of the room to get a cup of coffee when she came back to get a cup of tea.
I asked her if she was feeling alright and she said she was, but her allergies had gotten pretty bad in the last couple of weeks. I asked if she had heard about using tea for allergies and she said she hadn’t.
I told her about using honey to slowly ingest what she was reacting to from the area and causing the allergic reactions she was experiencing.
Of course she had never heard of using honey. I told her how to look at farmer’s markets and local natural foods stores for honey which is produced from the local bees to create a honey which would help her overcome her allergies by slowly inducing honey into her system.
When you know someone who has allergies, you know anything is worth a try. The effects of having allergies includes lethargy, angst, indifference and impatience. Most don’t event know how devastating how many effects there are but they way you down and make you feel exhausted.
Take the time to look at what you can do to overcome the effects of the allergies you are experiencing.
Carbs
Have you ever had a challenge with carbohydrates? They have been a major a front to my well being for more than 20 years.
I even tried eating no carbs for two years. I didn’t loose any more than 20 pounds but I went from a size 14 to a size 8. I was thrilled. I ate more every day than I had ever eaten. I was necessary to stay in Ketosis (a state of elevated levels of ketone bodies in the body.[1] It is almost always generalized throughout the body, with hyperketonemia, that is, an elevated level of ketone bodies in the blood).
The results were physically exactly what I wanted. The side effects were not as desired however. I began to loose my hair, in big clumps. It was awful. I lost 50% of my hair and my skin became rough and uneven.
It did make me very aware of how my body reacted to carbohydrates though. I wouldn’t recommend anyone going on a no carb diet because of the repercussions, but it does make sense to avoid all of the white carbs such as bread, potatoes, pasta, rice, etc. They’re considered empty calories and have very little value other than being filling.
I keep hoping there will be a discover on how to loose weight safely and healthily, but so far, no such luck. What works for some does not work for every other person. It’s important to find what works for you individually.
Cravings such as sugar are generally caused by a malfunction of the pancreas. When you strengthen the pancreas, you loose the cravings. Take the time to get to know what works for you.
